Happy Birthday Dan Dan!

We celebrated Dan Dan's 4th birthday with the gang at Cheesecake Factory. The perfect place for us with all the kids since it's always so loud there...they fit right in!

Throw Baby a bone

Ahhh...we are back home after the long drive from Reno. We decided to stop off for some dinner. Baby was fussy so I gave him a bone to gnaw on...he loved it!

Lipstick in the park

Mia is obssessed with lip gloss and lipstick. Not sure what to do about it since the clear shimmery kind is not meeting her approval. She got a treat with Dan Dan using Lil'Li-Li's dark pink lip gloss on her.

The result...simply gorgeous...

But I prefer the au naturelle look on the girls.

No more TV!

Off to start the day with a new favorite activity, painting pottery. Everyone was loved it and didn't make too much of a mess, but then again, Baby wasn't allowed to do it, so all was good. =)

Jalen and Mia in deep concentration.

Another reason the kids love Reno...

...they get to watch a lot of TV! The house is small for all of us and when the adults are trying to get organized or a moment of peace, the TV goes on. Hullo, TVheads!

My goodness, they are in a zone!

Baby's new do

If I had a son, I'd give him a mohawk while he was young. Look how cute Baby looks!

But I don't think his dad will go for it...bummer.

Another surprise...the Cho's!

The Cho's were vacationing in Tahoe, so we invited them to the retirement party. It was kids galore that night. We gave them a large corner to just go wild, their parents just rolled their eyes, while all the guests at the party thought they were all so cute and well behaved (WHAT!??!?!).

Hmmm...where's Jalen and Wai Wai....being anti-social with iPods in hand.

I bravely took the seven of them to the arcade. I was prepared though, with the train formation and wine glass in hand.
After all the fun with loot in hand.

We love having the Cho's around. They totally fit in with us and are just part of the family. (Sorry, Manny, you've got no choice but to be a part of another crazy Chinese family!)

Surprise, Gung Gung!

The whole gang headed to Reno to surprise Gung Gung at his retirement party from the Nugget (note, not retirement for good, just from the Nugget!). Boy was gung gung in a foul mood all week, cuz he thought no one in the family was going to the party. But look at that smile when we arrived!

The whole gang...one big, happy, crazy family.

Uncle Randy consoling Mia after a head-on collision with Mun Mun.

Baby was having a great time running wild and making a grand entrance time after time.

Baby being tackled and abused...and loving every moment of it!

And, of course the girls being sweet, then imitating the Mun Mun grin.

The Trio on a motor bike

Jalen, Dan Dan, Mia and Baby are together 5x's a week...no joke! The three older kids keep coming up with fun stuff together and keep themselves pretty entertained. Who knew three could fit on the bike?

And they even made up a song...

Back to Mocha for the Paint Monster

After Fairyland, we headed to Mocha since the kids had so much fun on Thursday. There is only one thing to say...Baby the Paint Monster! He went from painting with a brush, then his hands, to trying to touch everything and everyone in his path!

Don't worry, that white wall is covered with a white sticker that is easily removable, they've obviously had other paint monsters at Mocha.

Fairyland Fun with the Fu's

Fun day for the kids that started off at Fairyland (http://www.fairyland.org/). The play structures are based fairy tales. Here's the ship from Peter Pan. See anyone you know?

Dan Dan finds the pirate booty.

Off to the Alice in Wonderland maze. The kids made it out on their own!

They took Baby in this time and when they came out, here's what normally transpires when you try to take a group photo with a one year old.

Another boat...this time with water.

Baby on the carousel for...well, babies.

Not sure what story this clock is from, but it was cool and the kids, as usual, look like they love each other...and they do!

And here they are acting out the Three Little Pigs:

Mocha with the gang

The Fu's got to experience Mocha for the first time. It's one of Mia's favorite fun spots and she has gone with the Cho's before (http://adventures-of-mia.blogspot.com/2008/02/new-scarves-and-mocha.html). Painting is always a favorite activity.

This is Baby's first paint experience...and it likely is not his last. He loved painting and doesn't he look like a pro in this picture?

Matchy Matchy

If we go shopping together, the girls are insistent about getting the same everything. I thought the gymnastics teacher would have a difficult time telling them apart, but she did pretty good. They are cute though, aren't they?

Can you tell it's an afternoon class with the messy hair? The hair looks cute for about 15 minutes after fixing it in the morning.

Baby the Devil

Baby Justin is proving to be very, very mischievous. Mia wore this as a costume for Halloween just before she turned one (2005).

And Baby Justin wears it because he is what he is...

Lil' Li-Li...you're a "Fu"

This is hilarious! On our trip to Reno, Mia and Mun Mun attacked Vicki when she was getting out of her van to tell her..."Lil' Yi Yi...you're a Fu!". I wonder where they got the idea to say that...but here's Mia saying it again. And in case you're wondering, Lil' Yi Yi is little aunt, but Mia has never said lil' "yi-yi" she says "lil-li-li" like it's one word.
