Running on fumes...

Since we had such a big birthday weekend, it reminded me of a video from Wai Wai's birthday that I didn't post. Mia only had a 20 minute nap after a busy day at WW's party (thanks for forgetting yi-ma and lil' yi yi!) and we saw the effect of it by the evening...pure silliness...she "sang" this song from room to room for about 15 minutes to anyone that would listen.

Hot day at the zoo

After the big party, we met up with Ellen, Ethan and Elizabeth at the zoo. Here they are on the sky ride.


Mia had flip flops on, so I was smart enough to take them off for the ride. However, I was not smart enough to leave them off. I put them back on about 30 seconds too soon and, of course, she shifted and the flip flops came off and they are lost forever. Mia was quite upset, but now she just says "It's okay, the lions will take care of them for me". Live and learn, live and learn...

Elizabeth's 3rd birthday!

We had a dual celebration tonight at Le Cheval...Elizabeth turned 3 and Grandma Cho moved to sunny California!

Birthday Weekend!

We had so many celebrations this weekend. On Friday, it was Hannah's 4th birthday. I took some pictures with my camera phone, but (don't ask me how!) I somehow deleted them. I had a really cute one of Tina and Claire going down a big slide too. Oh well, hopefully Leilani will send me a picture or two of the birthday girl and all the fun at Pump It Up.

After all the fun there, we went out to dinner to celebrate Spencer's birthday. He was in Hawaii for his actual birthday, so we celebrated a week late. And yes, the only picture I took of Mia and her dad that night was on the camera phone. =(

Happy 5th Birthday Wai Wai!

Wai Wai turned 5 on Friday, April 4th, but we had his birthday bash today. It was a kite and planet theme (his two favorite things).


As Virginia was lighting the cake, you can see the fear in Wai Wai's eyes that she might burn him!

Wai Wai got a little shy when everyone sang "happy birthday" to him. It's not often that I've seen him this shy.

Pinata time!

Wai Wai not only shared his new guitar with Kailey and Mia, but he was also giving Mia lesson. Which is really sweet, considering it was a new gift AND he just learned to play the thing an hour ealier!

Pre-party activities

We are getting ready for Wai Wai's 5th birthday and all Kailey is concerned about is when she is going to get a cupcake. Her mom tells her after lunch about 10x's...finally, Kailey takes matters into her own hands...if she can't eat the cupcakes, at least she can be very, very close to them.
