Halloween craziness

We had a great time with six families at the Emmons' house for a Halloween celebration. I am hoping to get more pictures from everyone to do a slideshow of the evening. Here are a few decent shots I got.

Here they all are...

Mia and her twin Cinderella, Dan Dan.

Mia has a special place in her heart for baby Justin.

Brennan had a cool jet to go with his pilot outfit.

The fun part, getting some treats! Jalen Wong, Ethan, Lulu & Mia.

Mia's 3rd Birthday Party

Mia had a great day...thanks to everyone who helped her celebrate!

Mia loved her cake and blowing out the candles.

I am sure we got a picture of everyone at the party, so be sure to look for yourself and kid(s).

Harvest parade at school

Mia and Wai Wai got to wear their costumes to school today for the Harvest Parade. Mia looked pretty as a princess and, of course, Wai Wai got all the stares with another unique costume.

Cinderella....

Riding in a hot air balloon...

And not to be left out of anything, here's Elmo...

After the parade, they each had parties in their classroom. Mia's teacher did their usual routine. Here's Mia using a wand to touch each letter of her name while she spells it.

Happy 4th Birthday Ethan!

Ethan celebrated his 4th birthday at Fairyland (his actual birthday is 10/30) and everyone had a blast!

The buddies hanging out!

Here they are again.

We got to see the three lil' pigs. Here's the first two (Wai Wai & Dan Dan)...

And the third lil' piggie is the birthday boy!

With all the exciting things to do at Fairyland, here's how Mun Mun kept herself occupied.

Build-A-Bear Day

The kids got a treat today...a trip to Build-A-Bear Workshop. Here they are kissing the heart of their new stuffed animal and then Wai Wai putting the heart in his new dog.
Here are the girls giving their stuffed animals a bath. Mia got a bunny (that she doesn't even really like to play with!) and Kailey got a dog for her birthday from Mia that she loves and hugs every day.

Pumpkin patch art project

Mia and Wai Wai proudly display their pumpkin patch art project. They love these foam art stickers and it keeps them busy for a good amount of time.

Happy 5th Birthday Jalen!

Wow! Jalen is now 5 years old! And yes, that would be a candle in almond jello.

Chuck E. Cheese the artist

The kids got to go to Chuck E. Cheese today...what a treat! Take a look at the portrait of Mia & Dan Dan drawn by "Chuck E. Cheese" himself.

Me & my girl

I got an early birthday cake tonight. The kids sang to me and Mia helped me blow out the candles.
The above picture was taken with my lil' hand held camera. This one is taken with Randy's mega-expensive camera...just a slight difference, huh?

Oakland Zoo Fun

We headed to the zoo after lunch and let the kids hit the rides first so baby Justin could have his lunch.

It always makes me happy to see the kids together because they really love each other! Here they are being best buddies on the train. The second picture is funny because they saw a steep downhill slope and they really thought we were going to fall!

* The girls had the same shirt on by coincidence!

Here's Mia & Jalen going crazy on the car ride. Dan Dan is hidden, but she was steering for the other two since they didn't have their hands on the wheel.

Fun in Chinatown

Gung Gung is in town and we had dim sum with the whole family today. Uncle Jason came up with a "fishing" game to get the girls to eat.

The kids entertained themselves while Pao Pao was buying some groceries. And in between their playing we got a shot of all the grandkids with gung gung!

Sometimes you can have too much fun and the adults have to put a stop to it.

School Play Day

Mia had a school play day where each room of teachers put together a fun activity. It was so much fun visiting all the other classrooms, but Mia liked her class the best. They built a huge tunnel and had face painting. Mia was the first girl to get a tiger on her face (most of the boys chose the tiger face) and after that another girl did it too. That's my Mia... a dress, pigtails, princess clip-on earring (her choice!)...and a tiger face!
