Pigtails again...almost

It seems like Mia's hair is finally growing after the disastrous haircut I gave her (I don't know what possessed me) and she can soon wear pigtails again. Right now it's still a little short, but it's getting there. I will miss the cute pixie cut the stylist gave her to "fix" my mistake.

Daredevil Mia

Mia loves to visit her dad's place because she gets to play, play, play. Check out her free falling from the headboard.

Singing for candy

Life has been interesting with Virginia & Blaine in Italy and Wai Wai & Mun Mun here at our place. The three kids fight like crazy and none of them are ever willing to give in. Overall, though exhausting, we are surviving...only four more days! Hallelujah!

They did perform nicely for the camera this morning. As you'll see in the videos, they were bribed with candy.

To: Wai Wai From: Jalen

Our sweet boy, Jalen knew that Wai Wai would miss his mommy while she's in Italy, so he drew him this picture to cheer him up, it's of Wai Wai & Virginia. Wai Wai clutched this picture for three nights while he slept.

Mia the trapeze artist!

Mia had a great time Carter's 4th birthday party. The party was at a real gymastics place. Unfortunately, I did not bring my camera to get pictures of all the kids doing cool stuff, but Leilani took these great pixs of Mia swinging really high on the trapeze. She wasn't scared at all, even though I got a lil' nervous!

What good dental hygiene can do for your teeth!

These were taken sometime this month by Lil' Yi-Yi (Vicki) and they were also given to the kids by her. They're lollipops with some crazy teeth as the holder...but they still look cute, don't they?

Looking good, girls!

The boys "kissed" with their new lips.

Dan Dan the ballerina

Dan Dan started taking ballet class this month. So cute! Let's see if we can get the girls to have a dance recital for us (yeah, right!).

Happy 30th Birthday, Uncle Randy!

The reason for the big gathering (and all the posts below) is for Randy's 3oth birthday celebration. He officially turns the big 3-0 on Tuesday, but we had dinner, presents and cake for him today. Here's trying to get a birthday photo with him and the kids.

Anyone for ice cream cake after four kids blow out the candles?

Surprise visitors

Uncle Chuckie, Aunt Jih-Ling and Ping Ping stopped by to say hello.

Mia loves to see Uncle Chuckie cuz he always "flies" her:

Wai Wai, sorry Mia blocked your face!

Gung gung & pao pao with the newest addition, baby Justin.

Redecorating the kitchen

Mia and Dan Dan redecorating gung gung & pao pao's kitchen...foam flower & heart stickers go with granite counter tops, right?

After all that fun, the girls headed to the family room for some singing...surprise, more planet songs!

The Gung Gung & Pao Pao Restaurant

Was it a full moon tonight? All the kids sat at the table and ate their dinner, a feat we thought would not be possible with them together, but gung gung's pork cutlets did the trick and later, pao pao's abalone soup got them to behave at the table once again.

Water babies

These kids love water! Here there are playing with their new Dora sprinkler toy.

Here they are with their own personal valet to wipe their faces (gung gung!):

Wai Wai spelling

Look what Wai Wai spelled on his own! WOW!

Mia's entertaining day in the city

While the Yerba Buena park was a ton of fun, Mia liked her own little obstacle course the best:

And although Westfield has some of the best shopping to offer, Mia just prefers to have fun:

Swimming with daddy

Mia is most brave in the pool with her dad. She has so much fun and isn't afraid to get splashed. She made great progress today...getting her whole head under water (I did that as a surprise and she didn't cry! BUT, she told me not to do it again), floating on the noodle, and boy can those lil' legs kick!

A hot visit to Reno

We got into Reno just in time for the heat wave. Let me tell you, 108 degrees is pretty darn hot! Playing in the water offered a little relief.

The only real relief is to be indoors with air conditioning, so we headed to the Nugget for dinner at the Steakhouse and got to see gung gung, eat good food, and I won $50 on the penny slots!

(Okay, isn't she cute when she smiles naturally?...Probably just a natural reaction because she is with her pao pao & gung gung!)
